Late Summer Wildflowers

College students drifting back to campus following the end of summer internships — a sure sign that fall is on the way. Slightly cooler mornings. Dogwood and sourwood leaves beginning to turn. Sky-high Joe-Pye, and just beneath it goldenrod filling the fields and meadows with starry yellow blossoms. Summer’s beginning to gear up for a grand exit!
