Abbo's creek  It’s still looking quite wintry in Abbo’s Alley. But look– right there beside the creek! It’s a little patch of Snowdrops. They’re not open, probably because the day is somewhat overcast. But they’re up and blooming, a welcome sign of spring!  The magical herb moly that was an antidote to Circe’s poisons in Homer’s Odyssey may have been this plant.The chemical Galantamine, which is derived from snowdrops, has shown promise in treating Alzheimer’s.
