A student stopped me on campus to ask if I had been in Shakerag Hollow yet this spring, “It’s busting’ out!” she said. So I scampered down to take a look, and she was right! Bloodroot and Dutchman’s britches were both at their height. Also glorious were trout lily, hepatica, rue anemone, toothwort, and more. I’m so thankful for the heads-up!
