Successful Garlic Mustard Pull

gm pull2

I’d say we had 20 people out pulling garlic mustard around and below Morgan’s Steep on Sunday afternoon, April 26. Two students from Prof. Jon Evans‘s Conservation Biology class rounded up classmates, fraternity brothers, and sports teammates to join several community members to make this by far the most successful garlic mustard pull to date. We’re barely keeping the invasive weed in check, though, so there will be no resting on our laurels.

Nice work! That was a very good deed to beautify (detoxify) the forest. It isn’t complicated. Be persistent and vigilant.

Thanks, Todd! Yes, detoxify is the word for it!
