Autumnal Equinox

tomatoes Here we are, the earth positioned once again with its axis vertical to the incoming rays of the sun. day length and night length the same. Fall is definitely in the air, and many of our garden plants — my tomato vines in particular — are ready to call it a day. Maybe picking the last of the tomatoes and taking down the vines will become an annual autumnal equinox ritual around here.
