The campus is at its most beautiful right now, and one person we can thank is Sewanee’s Grounds Supervisor William Shealy. William well understands the importance of making the campus plantings as natural an extension of the surrounding forest as possible. He also absolutely loves the cheerful, bright presence of jonquils in the springtime, and each year since he arrived on campus he has had several thousand additional jonquil bulbs put in. I love them, too, William! Thank you! Pictured here are the library and the corridor between the science building and Carnegie. No wonder Sewanee continues to win acclaim for its beautiful campus!
Thank you, William!
