Hog and nutsedge study published by Evans and Oldfield

nutsedgediagram.pngCallie Oldfield (C’15 Biology; Post-baccalaureate Fellow for the Sewanee Herbarium) and Dr. Jonathan Evans (Professor of Biology; Sewanee Herbarium Director) published a study in Ecology and Evolution which investigates a positive interaction between two invasive species, wild hogs (Sus scrofa) and yellow nutsedge (Cyperus esculentus).
