Walls of Jericho

Many thanks to Austin Peay grad student Nate Parrish for leading a herbarium-sponsored hike to the Walls of Jericho, where nate is doing a botanical inventory. Here he is, just uphill from the “amphitheater” with Spigelia marilandica, known as Indian pink or sometimes pink root. We saw this blooming in late May near Sewanee, and here it is again!
