Cooking Up Some Kudzu

Sewanee’s Integrated Program in the Environment and the office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability are sponsoring a dinner in mid-October that will include edible invasive exotic plants. Seen here harvesting kudzu for a special Pest Plant Pesto is David Evans, C’15, a post-baccalaureate fellow working as the Student Sustainability Coordinator in the office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability. As you can see, we made barely a dent in this kudzu population, but the good news is that the plant didn’t swallow David whole before we got out of there!
