Students in Belize Program Present Posters at Scholarship Sewanee

Students in my Belize Program presented seven posters at Scholarship Sewanee on April 28. Posters were based on the research projects that the students conducted in Belize over Spring Break in the Chiquibul rainforest and the coral reef at South Water Caye.  Students conducted an amazing set of research projects including such topics as:  the ant-acacia mutualism, host tree choice in epiphytic vines, seedling distribution in clonal tree populations, testing the Janzen-Connell hypothesis, damsel fish algae farming, and seaweed subsidies to coral reefs.
