This was lots of fun! Dr. Carl Stafford, dean and professor at Southern Adventist University, invited me to do a “walk-and-talk” with school teachers who are on that campus for classes in environmental education. They have a terrific environmental education facility, and basically I spent a couple of hours walking through a 100-year-old forest making observations, asking and answering questions, and reflecting on the organisms — mainly the plants — that we saw. What a nice morning with this enthusiastic group of people!
